And So it Starts. Mulcair in Hotseat Over Bin Laden Remark

The NDP are about to get a taste of what it's like to be in the spotlight. As number three they garnered little attention. Now as official opposition they will be scrutinized much closer, while the Liberals can take some small comfort that they will be given a bit of peace.

I haven't liked Mulcair much since he went after Libby Davies over Israel remark.

But apparently today he revealed skepticism over death of Bin Laden, challenging Obama's statements to the contrary. Regardless of his beliefs, there is a protocol that much be respected.

He even mistakenly called Obama, Osama. Eeek!

  1. Uh-oh, this one should keep his mouth shut unless he has a script to read, like Harper (might be the only tip the Cons can offer anyone).

  2. He is a pompous fool who thinks about himself first. Jack better watch his back. Mulcair is there like a vulture.

Also, he is not a team player. Give him a job to do and leave him alone in a corner, and everything will be alright. I pity the poor recruits...

He can be rude, insulting, even cruel. You witnessed what happened to Ms. Davies; I have a lot of respect for her. Well, he once said (in the National Assembly, otherwise he would have been sued) to Premier Landry, whose wife was dying of cancer, that they had jumped the queue (they had not) to get preferential treatment. He is not above making false accusations when he is angry.

And his loyalties for the NDP are at best questionable. NDP is his third party!

  3. And he's an NDP! Just wait until the Cons start loosening up!
