Good Luck Ken Beck Lee Running in the Byelection for Coquitlam, New West Minister, Port Moody

Despite the fact that the Reform Conservatives have been breaking the rules and distributing ten percenters in the ridings where there are byelections tomorrow, and touting their fake action plan, Mr. Lee brings a lot to the table. We need more MPs with his concern for the environment.

Now doesn't he look like just the nicest guy? Good luck tomorrow Ken.

Ken Lee is a long-time resident of New Westminster and a registered professional engineer in BC and Ontario. Ken was separated from his parents during the Korean War and was raised by his grandmother at a young age. He immigrated to Canada in 1975 with only a modest amount of money along with four dependants.

Ken truly believes in continuing education for life-long learning. He has devoted 30 years to post-secondary education, mostly on a part-time basis while having a demanding full-time job. Ken's three children have learned the same work ethic from him and became successful professionals in medical fields: urologist, pharmacist, and DNA analyst.

Mr. Lee wholly or jointly owns four world wide copyrights on computer software and has written many technical papers and guide books in the environmental engineering field. Since 2002, he has been acting as a member of expert roster of UN Climate Change Agency and has audited many greenhouse emission reduction projects all over the world. He has also undertaken many environmental projects in Canada and overseas.

Ken has devoted many years to voluntary work in the community including three years service as Director of Surrey Community Foundation, seven years as Director and Chair of Vancouver Korean Canadian Scholarship Foundation, three years as Chair of Korean Cultural Heritage Society. He has also served on various municipal committees in Surrey and Delta.

A successful businessman, Ken is the owner and manager of New East Group of companies. New East is a trade mark registered in Canada and China.

He understands first-hand the difficulties faced by the families through his own experience and the challenges faced by professional and businesses. Ken wants to be a part of the Liberal team so that he can fully use his professional knowledge, management skills and international business experience to bring respect for your tax dollars by better, more-affordable solutions.
