Stephen Harper did not spend three decades with the National Citizens Coalition, four years as it's president, for nothing.
This group was originally founded to scrap the Canada Health Act and put an end to free health care, though eventually it became a vehicle for corporate greed.
So it's finally happened. So as not to get his hands dirty, Harper is allowing a backbencher to wear it ... putting out feelers.
It's being suggested that Bernier is vying for party leadership, but he's talking and Harper doesn't allow his MPs to talk. I think there's something else going on here.
Billions for planes, corporate tax cuts and prisons is OK. Keeping a nation healthy, not his priority.

Yes it is rather unique the Bernier can freelance but other Tory MP's cannot...maybe he is Harper's anointed successor
