Taxpayers were hosed 6 million dollars.
This is not the first time the sale of government buildings has hit the radar.
Research for the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) undertaken by the economic consulting firm Informetrica showed that the government significantly undervalued its assets, which in the end resulted in close to a $400 million windfall for Larco Investments – the company that won the bid to buy the buildings. And we are now renting back some of the buildings we sold at a tidy profit to friends of the Conservative government.
Taxpayers hosed 400 million.
Quite a scheme.
