Mind you when Jean-Pierre Blackburn lost it, it was because someone had taken his Tequila.
What was he supposed to do?
Veterans Affairs Minister Jean-Pierre Blackburn has pologized for trying to bring a bottle of tequila through security at Ottawa airport last month.
Blackburn is the second member of Stephen Harper's cabinet forced to offer a public apology after recent exchanges with security personnel at Canadian airports.
"On February 23 I was at the Ottawa airport and a bottle of alcohol was confiscated from me because it exceeded the 100-millilitre limit," Blackburn said in a statement Friday.
Clearly, new security measures don't apply to the Harper government. But he apologized.
A lot of that going around lately. Maybe they should stop doing things they have to apologize for.
