Stephen Harper is keeping secret a government report into the “scandalous” waste of money at last summer’s G8 and G20 summits, Michael Ignatieff says. The Liberal Leader said Tuesday was the day Auditor General Sheila Fraser was due to release her probe of the expenses for the back-to-back world summits, which cost more than $1 billion.

“We think that is one of the worst examples of fiscal mismanagement in the history of the country and we think the public report on this by the Auditor General ought to be out there,” Ignatieff said during a campaign stop here Tuesday morning.
