Estimate For Fighter Jets Twice the Original and Defense Spending up 54%

Eisenhower warned against the industrial-military complex and yet our government seems determined to break the bank buying military toys.

The F-35s, deemed all wrong for Canada, are now estimated to cost about $30 billion dollars. That's almost $1,000 for every man, woman and child in Canada at a time when our healthcare is on life support and poverty on the rise.

Is this an appropriate use of our tax dollars?

We have also learned that our military spending is the highest since the second world war, and Canada, the country that created the Peacekeepers, now ranks 60th for our contribution to this important initiative.

Time to pull the plug on this government. We can no longer afford them.

  1. Lessons on How HarperLand is Run:

Harper’s Government is run like this. A fat cat businessman gains the trust of a government official.

Soon fat cat gives government politician guy wads of cash in exchange for unfettered access to all the good juicy untendered contracts. Soon fat cat is blackmailing the government guy for lack of ethics. End result is government guy becomes fat cat's beyotch. Fat cat now completely owns and controls government politician guy.

Everyone else in society is left scratching their heads trying to figure out why politician guy makes such weird and crazy policy decisions that make NO SeNSE.
