A Reminder That We are Still Looking for Answers to G-20 Police Violence

Real News reminds us that there are still a lot of unanswered questions around the police conduct at the G-20 weekend from hell.

Was this a test of martial law?

Check out the summary. The RCMP are listed as the Royal Canadian Military Police. Did they undergo a name change we didn't hear of?

Freudian slip?

Kind of puts his 2005 pledge into perspective, doesn't it?

  1. I watched the video because I was waiting for someone to say "Royal Canadian Military Police" as a slip of the tongue, but I saw it was in writing. Is it too far-fetched to imagine that some day this written "evidence" that Canada had a military police force as early as 2010 will be used against us by a fascist federal government? It's not too far-fetched if people keep voting for Harper and his cohorts.
I am still stunned that innocent people were arrested, that journalists with G-20 passes were ordered away by police -- a test of martial law? If no explanation of police behavior is forthcoming, I'd say yes.

  2. It's very bizarre. And what makes it all the more troubling is that he will not talk about it. And no one is making him talk about it.

    It's very sinister.
