Why is Charles McVety running the G20 website? Even many in Evangelical circles have denounced what this man preaches. But simply because he's a close personal friend of Jim Flaherty, Stockwell Day and Jason Kenney, we have to have him in our face.
And the stuff on the site is hardly reflective of our values. They promote Karl Rove for heaven sake. Shouldn't our government have provided us with a G20 website and not this man?
I guess Stephen Harper is learning what it means to sell your soul to the devil.

McVety did a similar thing a few years ago. He registered the names of some MPs who supported
ReplyDeletesame-sex marriage. Going to an MP's "site" would direct the viewer to a site run by Canada Christian College that was against same-sex marriage.
He talked about doing this on local Toronto talk radio and was quite gleeful about the matter. This type of antic is his stock-in-trade.
Notice that most of the guests are "has-beens" who are not in the mainstream media except to preach to their "choir". Indeed, the only prominent person is Karl Rove and his career is not a noble one.
So . . . .it's a conference of wingnuts in a rundown building in an office park and it's only $95. ! I wonder how many and who would attend. Certainly not this boy. it's torment enough to watch McVety on his own tv show. To have to sit through a weekend of his brand of drivel would be equal to something from Dante.
