Another Aid Group May Face the Wrath of Stephen

Another aid agency that has dared to criticize the "great one", may find their funding removed.

After speaking out about the way that our dictator is handing out relief funds, the Canadian Council for International Co-operation, may now be on the chopping block.

Represented by those dangerous terrorist groups: Oxfam, the Red Cross, the Canadian Labour Congress, and Save the Children, who have been working to ease global poverty, Herr Harper has vowed to save us from such dissent.

He plans to hold a press conference later today to discuss his decision. (ha, ha, ha, ha, ha) Yeah right.

This will be another drive by shooting. The sad thing is that it's now become the norm, so his tyrannical actions are rarely even questioned.
The Canadian International Development Agency, which provided $1.7 million of CCIC’s $2.7 million budget last year, has been silent on renewing funding. CCIC is bracing for staff layoffs and worse.

To CCIC President Gerry Barr, this feels like political chill, and payback time. Ottawa is “very resistant to hearing public voices that are at cross-purposes to their own policy decisions,” he told the Star Tuesday. CCIC has been critical of the aid freeze, of defunding KAIROS (a Christian aid group) and of other policies. If Ottawa won’t fund CCIC, its members should. But it shouldn’t come to that.
