Why Would Jason Kenney Assume That All Jewish Canadians Agree With Him?

It's a very dangerous game that Jason Kenney is playing, with the help of his little Neocon adviser Alykhan Velshi. Velshi worked with a group often dubbed the Cheney family think tank, that sought to change the opinion of Americans, feeling that Palestine was garnering too much sympathy.

There is another group, Independent Jewish voices who also condemn Israel for war crimes.

Soon into the election, Kenney spoke at a Jewish high school, where he tried to recruit students to canvass for them. But had they taken him up on his offer, they would have lost their status as a charity.

Politicians speak at high schools all the time, but asking students to canvass for your party is something else altogether.

Kenney really crossed a line here.

Another Plank of the Conservative Campaign Just Splintered

Jason Kenney was on a radio station today to talk about his government's "Human smuggling" initiative, another cornerstone of their campaign. But instead it just angered people who found the entire thing a little offensive.

Human smuggling is an important issue but not something you want to run up and down squawking about. The bill he accuses Ignatieff and his "reckless coalition" of opposing, included the right to imprison women and children for up to a year.

Canada has always been a safe place for those fleeing oppression, and many people have bought their way to safety. But this is starting to look like a witch hunt.

Andre Gerolymatos has come to Kenney's defense, but he's an employee so it doesn't count.

Can't wait to see what they're going to announce tomorrow.

Update on Jason Kenney is a Despicable Little Worm

Not only did Jason Kenney lay out plans to exploit the immigrant community (the NDP is going to release other pages of the package), but he also used our staff and his Parliamentary letterhead.

Abuse of his office.

Just When You Thought Jason Kenney Couldn't Get More Despicable

An internal memo was sent to an NDP MP by mistake, distributed by Jason Kenney, suggesting that he will need $ 200,000.00 to “Target Ridings that are Very Ethnic”.

Exploiting ethnic communities, while making it clear that immigration posters are strictly "No Muslims" allowed. What a horrible little man.

The NDP made a splash in question period today when they released a fund-raising letter accidentally sent from Immigration Minister Jason Kenney’s office to NDP MP Linda Duncan, instead of Conservative MP John Duncan. Big oops.

The letter said the CPC needed $200,000 from party riding associations to make its ethnic campaign –”Building the Conservative Brand in Cultural Communities” — a success. (Hey, that’s only about $650 per. Pony up, everyone.)

People in those communities are Canadians and deserve respect as Canadians. They are not pawns in Jason Kenney's little game.
