Egypt Did it. They Got Rid of Their Dictator. Maybe we Can get Rid of Ours!

This is so wonderful. Stephen Harper's buddy has abdicated his throne. The Egyptian people have won democracy at a time when we are trying to reclaim ours.

There is hope.
Roars of joy erupted from tens of thousands of protesters gathered in Cairo as the announcement was made by the leader's deputy, Omar Suleiman, in a televised address. Mr Mubarak has handed over control to army chiefs, vice-president Suleiman said in a brief speech. The embattled leader's 30-year reign ended following more than two weeks of angry and sometimes violent demonstrations involving anti-government protesters, riot police and Mubarak supporters.
Just think that could be us in a month or two. Goodbye Stephen Harper. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

  1. What's frightening is who or what will Egyptians have to replace their dictator.
What small country covets a certain real-estate in the middle east.
Good luck Egypt you are going to need it.
