One of Canada's newest MPs is NDP Andrew Cash, a former punk band member, whose group included veteran NDP Charlie Angus.
I've been a fan of Angus since the days when he helped to expose the Adams Mine scandal in Ontario, that involved both Tony Clement and Jim Flaherty.
It's unfortunate that Cash's win was at the expense of another progressive, the well educated Mario Silva, but if he's half the MP as Angus, he will do his party and constituents proud.

Punk bands may be cool, but I'd rather have the Liberal bench back...
ReplyDeleteThe Liberals have an excellent team. So many bright people. We'll hold their spot.
