It was learned today that Sebastien Togneri, the ex-aide who is under investigation by the RCMP for illegally obstructing access to information, is working on the Consevative campaign in Edmonton-Strathcona. I don't know what's more disturbing. The fact that he is still working with the party, or the fact that the man he's working for, candidate Ryan Hastman, calls him an "old friend".
Guess we know now what we already suspected: they didn't like that he got caught, not that he did it in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI think an equally good question is why Doug Finley, who's charged in the In and Out scandal, still says he's working in the Harper war room. The media doesn't seem to have noticed him at all yet.
Good point. Jack Layton claims that both senators who could end up in jail, are working on the antional campaign.
ReplyDeleteAbout half an hour after La Presse in Montreal posted on its Web edition that Togneri was still working, the guy "resigned". Yeah right.
