I never read Ezra Levant's columns, but someone posted this on Canadians Rallying to Unseat Stephen Harper, believing that we could all use a good laugh.
And the man who was so smitten with Stockwell Day that he once referred to himself as a 'Stockaholic', didn't disappoint.
Most of the nonsense is the usual hyperbole about terrorists, and journalists who support Al Queda, or some such nonsense.
And of course he trashed Margaret Atwood, Don Newman, Jim Travers and Susan Delacourt.
But then came the punch line, when answering his own question about why these people are opposed to Fox News North:
"It’s intellectual competition."
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha ...
Intellectual competition? Surely he's not comparing himself to Margaret Atwood or Jim Travers.
And since when is Fox News or Sun Media classed as journalism? It's junk. We don't want it.
And suggesting that the CBC is "liberal: Anti-American, anti-Christian, soft-on-crime, soft-on-terrorists, radical environmentalism, big government mush." sounds more like Glen Beck.
Yep. Intellectual competition. That must be it.
