I posted yesterday on how Stephen Harper is annihilating his competition from within, by setting them up and then allowing them to wear the bad decisions he makes. James Travers refers to them as "crash test dummies".
But then I came across a headline that the Green Party is holding off a leadership review for Elizabeth May until after the next election.
I've been saying for a while that if Stephen Harper's poll numbers don't stabilize (the West distorts his rating but they know what the real numbers mean) he could be in trouble with his own party.
He seems to be governing from crisis to crisis and never taking responsibility for anything.
And I think the party brass realize that it's going to be very difficult for him to win another election, and even if he does, it will probably be a razor thin minority with fewer seats.
They spent ten million dollars on "just visiting" ads and yet Michael Ignatieff is gaining ground.
So is Harper destroying his internal competition as a message to the Party that even if they try to get rid of him, there is no replacement?
BTW, the above T-Shirt can be purchased here.
